FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1Can I upgrade or downgrade between different subscription packages?
You are free to upgrade and downgrade between packages according to your needs and financial circumstances. You will find the button to upgrade or downgrade in your personal login portal.
2Do I need to be a serious competitive athlete to join the Health Elevation Nutrition coaching programmeme?
No! Any active individual, whether you are a weekend warrior, elite athlete or even corporate professional can benefit from performance nutrition. The goal of performance nutrition is to help you become the best version of yourself – not only in the gym or on the sports field, but also in your day-to-day job, relationships, or other activities.
3Do you work with medical aids?
Medical aids accepted. Claims can be made on your behalf according to medical aid tariffs.
4What can I expect from my initial assessment and consultation?
We will be assessing anthropometry (weight/height/body composition) where appropriate, conducting specific biochemistry tests, doing a thorough diet history assessment and look at specific performance and health parameters to establish a baseline from which we will be building a personalised nutrition protocol. Because this process is quite time and labour intensive, your first month at Health Elevation Nutrition will be a bit more expensive than the follow-up months.
5What can I expect from my follow up sessions?
We have designed our software to make behaviour change and access to our dietitian as easy and accessible as possible. During our follow up sessions, we will be systematically making changes to your nutrition that will help you to elevate your health and performance.
Our approach to our nutrition programmes is to involve our clients in the process, not just prescribe – therefore, we integrate education into our sessions to empower you to not only know WHAT and WHEN to eat, but also WHY. Eventually, you will reach a point where you will be able to graduate and not be as dependent on your dietitian anymore (although we will always be available if you should need dietary support!).
